The Lionheart Physiotherapy Process
From restoration to results a holistic path to sustainable physical freedom and optimal function.
1 Restoration Phase
Reset the system relieve the pain
We begin by calming the nervous system, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain. Through hands-on therapy and movement retraining, we help reset your body, mind, and energy. Frequent treatments during this phase create the momentum needed for rapid change and stability.
2 Rebuilding Phase
Build your body back to normal function
Here, we restore postural alignment, rebuild foundational mobility, and rewire neuromuscular stability using DNS-informed movement therapy. We also begin integrating training and lifestyle strategies to support long-term change. Treatment frequency remains consistent to support integration and habit-building.
3 Results Phase
Maintain, perform and thrive
In this phase, you start seeing the results of your work; greater function, resilience, and confidence in your body. We refine your performance, prevent future issues, and reduce treatment frequency as you transition into a sustainable rhythm of movement and recovery.
The Integrative Approach
Our integrative approach begins with listening to your story and conducting a thorough assessment of your posture, movement, breathing and lifestyle. We use a range of assessment tools and treatment modalities throughout the process including:
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stability (DNS)
Functional Movement Systems (FMS)
Active Release Techniques (ART)
Functional Neuro-Orthopaedic rehabilitation (FNOR)
Myofascial Release
Nervous System Health Assessment
Postural & Respiratory Retraining
We take into account the foundational pillars of health:
Nutrition, Hydration, and Digestion
Sleep Quality and Recovery
Mental Health and Emotional Regulation
Lifestyle and Environmental Factors

Addressing The Root Cause
At Lionheart we go beyond treating just symptoms and specific body parts and consider the whole person; body, mind and environment. Our aim is not just to manage pain but to uncover and address the root causes of dysfunction.
From postural misalignment, faulty biomechanics, emotional stress held in the fascia, unresolved trauma, nervous system dysregulation or lifestyle imbalances we draw on the wisdom of ancient therapies combined with modern rehabilitationand movement science to create lasting recovery.
