Conditions We Work With

We work with health conscious people experiencing pain, injury, postural imbalance or ongoing patterns of tension and dysfunction.

How To Start

Choose the service that best reflects your needs.

For acute injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and athletic rehabilitation.
For pain relief, easing tension, improving recovery and mobility.
For optimising alignment, strength, physical capacity and overall vitality.

If you are unsure where to begin, an Integrative Health Assessment will guide you toward the most appropriate pathway.

The people we help are not looking for quick fixes. They are seeking a deeper understanding of what is happening in their body and a clear path towards long term alignment, strength and balance.

At Lionheart Integrative Therapies, the recovery process begins with a biomechanical examination, lifestyle assessment & training evaluation to identify the underlying contributors to the symptoms.

Pain & Injury

  • Pain is rarely purely related to site of discomfort. It is influenced by how the body moves, stabilises, breathes and manages load over time.

  • These conditions are commonly linked to reduced mobility, poor load distribution, faulty breathing mechanics, myofascial tension and elevated stress load.

Addressing them requires localised treatment, restoring optimal movement, postural stability and internal balance.

  • Injuries must first be assessed and diagnosed accurately. From there, contributing factors are identified and a structured rehabilitation process is developed.

The goal is not only to recover, but to understand why the injury occurred and reduce the likelihood of it happening again.

Postural & Movement Dysfunctions

  • Posture reflects how the body organises itself under gravity and stress. It is influenced by movement habits, breathing patterns and the psychosomatic relationship between physical and emotional state.

  • Mobility restriction, tension and loss of flexibility often develop gradually. These patterns can limit movement, reduce efficiency and increase strain on the bodies myofascial system.

  • Movement dysfunction occurs when when the neuromuscular system is unable to effectively coordinate the timing and co-activation of musculature to stabilise a joint. Over time, this leads to compensation, symmetry, tissue overload and pain.

Tension, Stress & Recovery

Why do I feel constantly tight or tense?

Chronic tension is a combination of physical load, posture and internal stressors. The body holds patterns that reflect both mechanical and emotional pressure.

How does stress affect physical health

Stress effects breathing pattern, muscle tone, sleep quality & nervous system status and directly contributes to pain, fatigue and reduced performance.

Why am i not recovering?

Recovery is determined by four key factors: sleep, nutrition, training load and stress management. When any of these are out of balance, the physiology cannot repair or adapt effectively.

The Lionheart Approach

Work on the root causes of pain, injury & dysfunction

Our core therapeutic pillars

Movement Therapy

Physiotherapy, DNS, mobility, primal movement and yoga to restore optimal function.

Manual Therapy

Physiotherapy and remedial massage to address tissue restriction and improve joint mechanics

Energetic Therapy

Meditation, Reiki, Sound & Vibrational Therapy to regulate the nervous system and promote internal homeostasis.

The work requires honesty, consistency and a willingness to look beyond the surface. If that resonates, you’re in the right place.
